nights like these

harder they fall

for nostalgia’s sake

this has no relevance to any particular person

i feel like with some people, i am just wasting my time.

on the flip-side, there are others that i know i shouldn’t waste any time on.

but i don’t like it when people fight for silly reasons, or any reason at all really. obviously sometimes things aren’t petty and are quite valid, but i suppose i am just a hippy.

don’t get suspicious, don’t try to guess if this is about you, don’t ask me – i have nothing to say about it.

it doesn’t get much better than this.

a month late

so on the 20th and 21st of november, i met up with yurika, a girl i hosted at my house in australia almost three years ago now, and we went to disneyland.
it had been such a long time since we had spoken because of yurika being so busy with uni, so i was super happy to be able to finally meet her and her family.

the whole park was done up in a christmas theme because of the season, i almost died when i walked in and saw millions of fairy lights and the huge christmas tree. i was teary and jumping up and down like an over-excited child.

so we wandered around, taking in the sights and chatting. it was so lovely to be able to catch up with yurika actually. turns out she hasn’t changed a bit at all, the only difference between when she stayed at my house and now is that she had chopped all her hair off and started wearing makeup.

we eventually sat down to eat caramel popcorn and watch the “Chirstmas Wishes Parade”

 

when the sun set, the whole park was illuminated by fairy lights and it began “snowing” on cue with music. i was so stoked, and all of us just stood there saying “wow,  it’s so beautiful” over and over again.
